Many other organizations and businesses throughout the county are commemorating the 175th birthday of Fulton County with free cake for their customers . . . what a fun way to celebrate!

First Baby!
Fulton County Health Center will be celebrating the first baby born after midnight on April 1, 2025 with a special 175th Birthday gift package! Stay tuned for more details!

Our friends at WMTR 96.1/The Buck will be live at the Museum from 9:30-11:00 a.m. to talk about the many ways we’ll be celebrating Fulton County’s 175th Birthday! Be sure to tune in!

Scavenger Hunt Selfie Contest – April 1 - October 1, 2025
Celebrate the county’s historic birthday by exploring all the wonders of Fulton County! There are 50 locations on the Fulton County Heritage Trail. As part of the celebration, you are challenged to visit as many of the locations as possible for the chance to WIN! Click here to view the Fulton County Heritage Trail with locations and map!
Contest Details: When you arrive at the site, take a selfie of yourself that clearly shows you were there and email it to FultonCountyOHSelfies@gmail.com with your name and phone number. We will compile your collection and when you reach 25 different locations you qualify for our Fulton County commemorative hat which can be picked up at the Museum of Fulton County and Welcome Center, 8848 SR 108, Wauseon, OH. (open Mon-Sat. 10-4). When you accumulate 35 locations, your name will be entered into a drawing for a prize basket and after visiting all 50 sites your name will be entered into a grand prize drawing. Prize values total approximately $175.
For no compensation, all submissions of selfies become the property of the Museum of Fulton County and may be used in publications, advertising, and web content.

Tree Planting in Fulton County
To celebrate this milestone birthday, the team at the Fulton County Soil and Water Conservation District will be planting one Princeton Elm Tree in each township in Fulton County! Stay tuned! We’ll post photos of the new trees on our social media sites!
